Who Can Participate? People going into grades 6 to 12
How Does it Work?
Come to the Teen Area of the library and fill out a short registration form. Pick up a Reading Record where you record what you read. You can read anything: books, magazines, graphic novels, listen to an audio book.
It all counts!
Books must be 200 pages or more to count!
THE POINTS:
200–299 pages = 1 Point300-399 pages = 2 Points
400-499 pages = 3 points
500 pages and up= 4 points
3 Graphic Novels equal 1 point
3 Magazines equal 1 pointAudio books– look up the number of pages in the printed version and record them.
YOU MAY not add book pages together– each book is counted separately (except Graphic Novels)!
3 points = your choice of treats from the box kept at the children’s reference desk
PLUS an entry in the weekly drawing for t-shirts, book packs, and $5 local store gift certificates.
All entries will be included in the FINAL GRAND PRIZE DRAWING of 2 $50 Target Gift Cards on Thursday, July 25th at 5 pm in the TEEN area! You need not be present to win, we will notify you!Any questions? Ask a TAB member or Kathy
